Tug and Barge

Barges are specifically made to transport heavy items like coal, sand, timber, oil, and other building materials. Tugs and barges are a combination fleet that operate together. Since these vessels don’t have their own engines, tugboats are needed to pull and push the barges across canals, rivers, and open water. The powerful tugboat and the huge cargo capacity of the barge work together to offer an effective and adaptable transportation option to address the difficulties of fleet availability when shipping from one location to another. Additionally, this pairing aims to make it simpler for our customers to find the Tug and Barge in a single set, with the finest quality and performance in one place.

The tugs run by PT Asia Mulia Transpasifik have 1,200 to 2,400 horsepower engines and can tow barges that are 230 to 300 feet long. 12 sets of tugs and barges are currently under our control. As of right now, we are able to operate in all Indonesian territorial waters, including those in Pangkalan Susu, Padang, Aceh, Jambi, Palembang, Dumai, Lampung, Bojonegara, Suralaya, Marunda, Gresik, Indramayu, Lombok, Tuban, Lontar, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Berau, Asam Asam, and Sungai Danau
